The State of Developers

I would not call my self a developer, but I do dabble in code once in a while. I have seen developers all over the web working on their sites, having issues with development, or having issues with clients. If you ever become a devloper, always do your work for free or get paid at full price. You never want to charge half off or part of a price. The reason for this is simple, if you are not getting paid the client will try to get things but will not push you because they are getting it for free. They would rather get out something ok, then you getting mad and quiting the job. Then if you charge anything the client wants the top quality product never anything less. The point is charge full price, because clients always want the best when they are paying. If you want to do someone a favor charge nothing, so you won't get nagged when it is not what they exactly wanted. Many developers make the mistake of of charging on the cheap and end up doing something amazing for almost nothing.
