Wordpress 3.0

WordPress 3.0 has been out for a good month or two now. I have tested out the features and want to tell you guys about the usage after a month of using the platform. The features are not being used by many themes right now. WordPress allows you to theme the editing area, but no themes that I have seen are using the feature.
WordPress also allows you to order the navigation in what ever order, by a simple drag and drop function. Once again this is not being used to its full potential. I have seen themes starting to catch onto this, and it is a great feature. The feature allows you to edit the navigation fast, without ordering by the old number way.
The whole thing is that WordPress was supposed to bring features that would be used by millions and billions of WordPress 3.0 users. The developers making the themes need to implement these features so many of the normal users can breath easier.

as much as i use wordpres, not alot, with most new things it takes a while to update to new things for example the ipod touch it takes a while for apps to update there app to the new firmware so either new themes will be made to use the best parts of this update or some themes will be updates =)

I think it's simply the fact that most WordPress themes were built before 3.0, and so not many developers are updating the themes to support the new features (and probably don't see reason to). Hopefully we will see some great themes popping up using the new features though, and this will take WordPress into more than just blogging.
